Sarangkot Dhampus Australian camp trek is a night, two days trek in the Australian camp. It is also known as the best sunrise and sunset trek in Pokhara city with a ccolourfulHimalayas view. This view stretches from the Machhapuchhre and green hills, Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri range, terraces and the beautiful view of the valley in Pokhara city. The major attractive sceneries of this trek include the Australian Camp, the Sarangkot hill, and the Dhampus village.
Sarangkot Dhampus Australian camp trek stars in Pokhara city with a 40 minutes’ drive to the Sarangkot Hill (1565m). This Sarangkot hill is located at the north side of the Pokhara city. It is overlooking the Pokhara valley and the Fewa Lake. Sarangkot is a beautiful and neatly crafted hill which is best known for its sunrise. On a clear day, an amazing view of the Himalayan Mountains, the Fishtail, the green hills, terraces of rice and the Pokhara valley.
In addition to the beautiful view, there is also breakfast in Sarangkot. After the breakfast, the trek continues with a hike to the Australian Camp (2055m). It takes approximately 5 hours to complete the task. During this hike, different mountains views, local villages are clearly visible.
The terrace of rice in the arena is also beautiful. The trip from Australian Camp to the Dhampus village (1694) entails beautiful paths through jungles which are also enticing. From the Dhampus village, there are several stone steps up to the town known as Phedi. After the trek, vehicles are available for tourists to their Hotels in Pokhara city.
