Jomsom – Muktinath Helicopter Round Tour
45 Minutes fly reach to Jomsom from Pokhara, the trading center of a Mustang is located at an altitude of 2,720m/8922ft. You fly over the Jomsom which is the trading Centre of the Trans Himalayan region of the Annapurna area. While flying you see the beautiful view of the mountains like Annapurna Range, Mt. Machhapuchhre, Nilgiri Himal, Dhaulagiri Range and many others in addition to the view of the Pokhara valley, Rivers, Forest, picturesque villages, etc.
Muktinath is famous among Hindu and Buddhist rituals. It is located at the foot of Thorang La Mountain pass in Mustang district at an altitude of 3710m/12,169ft. Fly over from Jomsom to Muktinath and land at Ranipauwa which is the gateway of Muktinath, 20 Minutes short hike up to the temple, There you go to the Muktinath temple, Jwala Mai Temple, Mukti Dhara in which you see 108 waterspouts inside the form of Bull’s head, Monasteries, etc. Will give you 1 hour of helicopter holding time to reach the temple, perform puja, and take a bath and short sightseeing around the temple. If need more then this time, prior approval is requested. The holy shrine at Muktinath is in a grove of trees and includes a Buddhist Gompa and the Pagoda style temple, containing an image of Lord Shiva. The outer courtyard temple contains 108 bull-faced facets through which ice-cold water flows.
7:00 AM – Pick up from Hotel and drive to Pokhara Airport (10~20 Min).
7:30 AM – Fly from From Pokhara airport to Muktinath(3710m/12,169ft) fly towards North heading straight to the Annapurna massif. fly over Kaligandaki river to reach Jomsom. (45 Min fly).
8:15 AM – Landing at Ranipauwa. you will be given with 60 Min-90 Min of time at Muktinath, to perform puja, and take a bath and short sightseeing around the temple.
9:15 AM – Fly Back to Pokhara(25 Min).
10:00 AM – Drop to Hotel.
