Bungee jump in Nepal comprises jumping from a high structure while being connected to a long elastic cord. The tall structure is usually a static platform, such as a Tower or bridge. The cable stretches as the person dives down and the jumper flies up again while the cord recoils. The individual continues to oscillate up and down before finally coming to rest. A person unhooks the individual from the bungee after he/she is lowered to the ground.
Nepal has been an ideal destination for Adrenaline junkies for bungee jumping as well. Though restricted to places in Europe and North America before, bungee jumping now has a newfound perfect location in the heart of the Himalayas. The thrill of plummeting off a suspension bridge in a deep river canyon will infuse a sense of adventure like nowhere else on earth. Although it’s not for the faint of heart, it’s an unforgettably exciting experience.
The excitement of a bungee jump can be experienced at BhoteKoshi, in the enchanting city of Pokhara or over Kaligandaki river in Kusma. The bungee jumping at BhoteKoshi and Kaligandaki involve jumping from a bridge. However, the one at Pokhara consists of jumping from a tower.
